Physician Liaison - Medi-Weightloss Greater Austin

Medi-Weightloss is a nationally recognized, physician-supervised program delivering medically proven, individualized weight management and hormone optimization solutions. Our Greater Austin clinics are locally owned and operated by Kaya Wellness LLC. We're focused on improving overall health, reducing obesity-related conditions, and enhancing patient quality of life through evidence-based protocols and comprehensive support.
We're growing beyond weight loss into hormone optimization and broader health services, and we're looking for someone to deepen our connections with the local medical community.
We're seeking a relationship-driven Physician Liaison to connect our clinics with referring providers across Greater Austin. You'll be the face of Medi-Weightloss to physicians, specialists, and healthcare organizations, educating them on our programs and making it easy for them to refer patients who need medically supervised weight management or hormone optimization.
This role is ideal for someone who has relationships in the Austin-area healthcare community and enjoys building long-term professional partnerships.
Build referral relationships with physicians, specialists, hospitals, wellness centers, and healthcare networks across the Greater Austin area
Educate providers through in-person visits, lunch-and-learns, and informational sessions on the clinical benefits of our weight loss and BHRT programs
Serve as the primary contact for referring providers, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up
Identify opportunities within targeted specialties including endocrinology, cardiology, bariatrics, family medicine, OB/GYN, urology, internal medicine, and primary care
Track and report physician feedback , competitive insights, and referral activity to clinic leadership
Collaborate with our team to align outreach with patient growth goals and marketing initiatives
Conduct 40+ provider office visits per month
Build a base of 8-12 actively referring provider offices within your first two quarters
Generate measurable increases in patient referrals quarter-over-quarter
Provide actionable market intelligence that helps us improve our offerings
Required:
2+ years in medical sales, physician liaison work, pharma sales, or healthcare business development
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Greater Austin area
Strongly Preferred:
Existing relationships within the Austin-area medical community
Knowledge of weight management, GLP-1 medications, hormone therapy (BHRT), or chronic disease management
Base Rate : $25-28/hour
Performance Bonuses : Activity and outcome-based bonuses available
Mileage : Reimbursed at IRS standard rate
Hours : Approximately 15-18 hours/week, flexible scheduling
