Job Opportunity – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urgent Care – Virginia

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete

Location: Richmond, Virginia (multiple clinic locations)

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12+ hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (hours may extend based on patient flow). Clinics operate 7 days per week including weekends. Expected to see all patients arriving during shift hours.

Highlights:

• Locum with potential to convert to permanent position
• Diverse patient population from birth through geriatric care with volume ranging from 25 to 50 patients per day
• 100% outpatient urgent care setting with no call coverage required
• Perform a wide range of procedures including laceration repair, I&D, splinting/casting, joint reduction, foreign body removal, and point-of-care diagnostics
• Epic EMR system for streamlined documentation
• Multiple locations across the Richmond area offering variety in clinical experience

Requirements:

• Active Virginia state license (required)
• Board Certification (required)
• Active BLS and DEA certifications (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Department, Primary Care, or Urgent Care setting (required)
• Proficiency in urgent care procedures including suturing, splinting, casting, X-ray interpretation, EKG evaluation, and point-of-care lab testing
• Clean professional background with no malpractice or licensure issues
• Local or in-state candidates preferred
